The route of the ancient irrigation ditches is an easy path of about 7 km that starts from Bribano di Sedico and arrives at Sasso di San Giorgio
Along the banks of the stream “Cordevole”, it continues to the point of arrival in the locality of Tappole. Along the route you will come across various testimonies of the water-related industrial activities that once took place here.
To start the journey, you can reach the parking by car.
Suitable for the whole family, this thematic route is named after the irrigation ditches (canals) that brought water to the sawmills, mills, forges and a paper mill that once stood along the path. There are explanatory signposts that will satisfy your curiosity about the history of these places.
It can be travelled in both directions, starting from Bribano or from Tappole
The majority of the route is along white roads that run alongside the stream and offer magnificent views of the thriving nature that surrounds it.
In some places you can cool off in the crystal-clear waters of the river and enjoy a nice picnic.
If, on the other hand, you have not thought about taking sandwiches with you and would like to sit comfortably at a simple but effective table, you can go to the restaurant ‘Al Capannone’ not far away to refresh yourself with a good menu. Please note that it is only open during week days (Monday to Friday).
